Stella McCartney for Adidas Sports Bra

In a moment of weakness (even though I banned myself from shoppnig until NYC next month), I went to Adidas a few weeks ago during the 50% off sale and ended up picking up an Adidas by Stella McCartney sports bra.  It's quite unique and different than your usual sports bra, due to its bright orange colour, the material, and its adjustable straps.

I always feel so torn when buying Adidas by Stella McCartney.  It's more expensive due to the design (but the design is very nice!), but do I really need to pay extra only to sweat in it?  I tell myself it was 50% off, from $55 to $27.50 and plus I only own two sports bras so with one extra I won't have to recycle during the week.

Mackage Jordana Jacket

So I caved and purchased my first leather jacket (although it set me back a pretty penny)!!!  I always wanted a motorcycle jacket... it looks almost brown in the picture, but it is most definitely a black!  I could've gotten a cheaper one, but I figured that you only really need one leather jacket and might as well get one that is really nice and detailed.

UPDATE July 17, 2011: So I was browsing Aritzia's site and they have this Mackage Kenya jacket that looks a lot like the Jordana, except it's an Aritzia exclusive.... I would say I would be a bit sad if all the Aritzia girls start wearing my jacket :( to the point where Danier copies them!

My Sandals Picks of the Saks 70% Sale

If only I lived in the states, I would totally order the Rag and Bone Royston Leather & Suede Wedge Sandals.  From $395 to $139.77 what a steal!!  They're like flat forms but with a bit of heel.  Drooly... too bad shipping and duties put it to $210, which is still half the price but a little expensive to buy without having tried it on first.

I also really like DVF's Drama Braided Chain Canvas Sandal.  It looks super fun! From $227 to $79, also a steal!

Lastly, I am drooling over the Jimmy Choo Hunters currently on clearance from $428 to $149!!  Although I already have a pair of rainboots, a croco print would really complete my collection.

So today, on a spur of the moment even though I'm super broke this month, I caved and brought new sandals, Sam Edelman's Eli sandal to be exact.  You can't really see the details from my own picture though.

Anthropologie Sun-stitched Skirt

Ever since I saw this item in the catalog, I really liked it!  So I went and got the elephant tank last time it was on sale, and now I put the skirt on hold at the store and it is also currently on sale.  What to do... because I already have so many skirts, but of course not a yellow one with embroidery on it! It's as if I am really in India!

As a side note, I am a little disappointed that the Gladiolus Skirt is unavailable in stores in Canada.  Does that mean it sold out before it made it to stores? :(

Given that it is supposed to thundershower tomorrow, what I am supposed to do?  Should I still bus my ass there to check it out?  Hmmmmm

Aritzia Presale Spring Summer 2011

I got the invite to go to the Aritzia presale, and of course I couldn't help but buy some stuff!

The silk top makes me think of modern leopards!

I got the cape! YAY!  It was the last one!

These Jbrand mid-rise jeans looked too good not to buy :(

Now I am super broke!!!  I'm actually half surprised that I didn't buy even more.

Recent Anthro Purchases

While procrastinating for my exam, I went to Anthro and brought a whole bunch of dresses!  They are all so gorgeous, but in the end I decided to only keep one.

Anna Sui x Anthro - I don't look that great in green :( and it was too crazy for me.

Apparently, not only was it seen on Taylor Swift, but also on Glee!  I decided not to keep this one either.

At first it looked great!  But then I decided I have enough shift dresses at home.

It's funny because this was like everyone's favourite (of those I asked for their opinion), but no.
Green isn't the best colour for me.

I ended up only keeping this one!  A bit hippy, but I like it...!

after a bit of hiatus... summer sales are here!

So in the last few days, all my favourite stores at the mall have suddenly went on sale!  For example, today I had no intention of going to Zara but as I passed by I realized that the summer sale had just started.  How could I resist?

So... I tried to control myself and ended up with a few items.  Now I am really broke!

I really need a pale pink cardigan... because I don't have one!

I was going to go out and buy Jbrands, but why spend $200 when you can spend $30?

This would be fun for work!

Maybe when it's matched with this top?

More Liz Lisa

Oops... so I ended buying more Liz Lisa things... of which include:

I received this one today, but it troubles me! It fits pretty tight considering the material isn't stretchy, so it's either the girl on the left if very very slim, or the girl on the right looks fat but is actually really slim too. :(  Also, now I need a matching vest to look cool.

I also want this one!!! ARGHHHH so much floral! I hope the style lasts a while... haha

Uh oh...

So after being SO good for the month of February with close to NO shopping... the cravings are back! :(  I'm undecided about the blazer, so when I passed by Anthropologie today I picked up an Ella Moss sweatshirt on sale at 50% off... it's nice with jeans!  I am undecided whether I should keep this one or not (along with the blazer).

My Jcrew Bikini top shipped too! It's a little big :( so sadly, that will also show up on this month's credit card!  Hum... gut says I need to return to keep to budget... but what?

Recent Purchases:
- CM sweater - 62.38
- CM tulle skirt - 62.38
- CM lace skirt - 44.30
- CM blazer - 89.50
- Anthro sweatshirt - 79.03

Unreturnables
- Jcrew bikini top- 74.59
Total: 412.18  HUM... i guess it's not THAT bad... but I want japanese clothes stuff... and zara crochet tops!

I'm also attracted to the leopard dress!  It would be so good for the clubs!

Club Monaco Christie Skirt

After yesterday's great Club Monaco finds, I decided to try my luck at the next closest store to my workplace and I got myself the skirt with lace which happened to be the Christie skirt at 75% off!  Whoohoo!!!  I was initially ready to buy it at 55% off, but it turned out to be further discounted at the cashier.  YAY.

I realized recently I have way too many bras!  So I will go and return one of the five I got last month. -___-  I may also go back for the Max blazer... which is at a little over 60% off... I have it on hold!  Eeks!  Right now is the best time to shop for seasonal clearance items!

As a side note, I really wished those pants looked good on me.  I'd really liked the plaid version but no matter how many times I try them on they just don't fit very well.  It's a little bit different, though I feel like it makes me feel fat (though it probably doesn't and I'm just not used to it!).

UPDATE: So I got the Max blazer at 70% off! What to do? Keep or return? I brought too much this month :(

This is very tempting

I really want a plain black pencil skirt and this would be perfect (in black), which is available, on sale for $79.99!  If only I lived in the states and did not have to pay duties for buying Jcrew online!

Club Monaco Tulle!!

Since I first saw Club Monaco's Fall Winter 2010-11 collection, I'd really liked the tulle dress, except at the time I was buying a lot of the H&M x Lanvin dresses so I passed it over.

It's so pretty! When would I be able to wear it though?

Today, I got myself the Olga skirt (on sale!) which is just as good as the tulle dress, except it's in skirt form. Hurray!  Although I did buy this in the month of February... which means my shopping for budget for March is a little less now.

A nude tulle to add to my black tulle collection

I kind of wished I'd gotten the plaid jacket.... it would've been nice now that Spring is coming up!

The coat was on sale and before more markdowns could happen, it disappeared!

Aritizia S/S 2011

Oh my god... there are seriously endless things to buy and not enough money or time.  I love so many things from Aritizia's Spring/Summer 2011 collection, I don't know where to start.  My problem with Aritizia is that they tend to recycle their key items with slightly different colours every year.  Maybe I am hallucinating, but this year feels fresher to me than others.

Spring is here!

I need to think about my "needs" and "wants" though... buying all of this would put me into bankruptcy!

BHLDN

On Monday, Anthropologie's bridal line, BHLDN officially launched its site for online shopping!  I have been a fan of Anthro (as I like to call it) since I discovered it a few years back.  I love their dresses, their attention to details, and it would be one of my first stops where shopping for a special occasion dress.  They are perfect for parties, going out, for work, anywhere.

In fact, if I were to get married, I would definitely consider Anthropologie dresses for my bridesmaids - they are cute and generic enough (does not scream WEDDING!) to re-wear for many future occasions.

Lo and behold, the bridal line is launched and it does not disappoint.  I love the silk, cotton, tulle and taffeta materials and the intricate detailing.  All things in consideration, they are not that expensive in the grand scheme of the wedding planning world.  Have you seen the ridiculous amounts people pay for their dresses on "Say Yes to the Dress"?

The collection includes bridal gowns,  bridesmaid dresses, accessories, shoes, jewelery, and even lingerie!

Here are my favorites of the collection!

I really like the crochet flowers and the asymmetrical bow on the back
I love the tulle and the pinwheel appliques add a nice touch.  Again, I love the asymmetrical bow!
I love the butterfly details!
A fun take on modern wedding dress
This is one of my more mature selections, but how could I not like the flower details and the button up back?

This is one of my favourites!  The flower print is irresistibleand would be perfect at a garden party.

This one gives me a retro feel, in a good way.  Plus I like the back cutout.
Even the shoes are gorgeous!
